Andrei Manoliu

I started working with the Oracle Database at 9i firstly as a developer, learning Oracle Forms and Reports on the way. Later I changed the role to being a DBA for most of my career managing 9i, 10g, 11g, and 12c databases. Taking the step to a presales position or later a post-sales position got me closer to the Oracle Cloud and the database family services there.

Now I am part of the Product Management Database Platform Technology Solutions team helping partners and customers understand more about the Oracle Database in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Andrei will present

What’s Coming in Oracle Database 23c – App Simple

While Oracle has always offered the most complete set of features in the industry to ensure the most secure, performant and highly available databases, there’s always more that we can do as new data management requirements arise.  In Oracle database 23c, we focused on making it easier for developers to build the next generation of data driven applications regardless of development approach or style while maintaining the same levels of performance and availability that the Oracle Database is known for.
This release has an internal code name of App Simple because it has a big focus on making it simple to develop and run data-driven apps.
Session Agenda

  • A Database for Modern Data-driven Apps
  • Oracle Database 23c – JSON Relational Duality
  • Oracle Database 23c – Graph Data Model
