RoOUG’s first event took place in Bucharest on April 5th
Romania Oracle User Group’s first event took place on April 5th in Bucharest in the presence of over 20 IT specialists. “RoOUG Startup Meeting” focused on the presentation of the group and included technical presentations related to Oracle databases. Romanian Oracle User Group – RoOUG is dedicated to the Oracle user community in Romania and wants to make available to its members the latest relevant technical information about Oracle products and technologies through articles, seminars and online events.
The group will follow the model of other international Oracle User Groups, as RoOUG is already affiliated International Oracle User Group Community. Similar technical groups are activating worldwide for several years and became the main organizers of events for professionals in Oracle technologies.
Mirela Ardelean, one of the group founders, stated in the events opening note that Romanian group wants build relationships with similar groups in neighboring countries, such as Bulgaria or Hungary. Organizing online seminars or specific presentations will be the main activity of the newly established Romanian Oracle User Group. The founders of this group are four IT specialists from Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca: Mirela Ardelean, Catalin Tomoiu, Ciprian Onofreiciuc and George Bara.
